1/100 MG RX-178 MKII AUEG Version 2

Finally started with this RX-178 Version 2. The amount of parts is slightly more than the previous version.
Didn't really follow the construction manual this time round.

Made some modification to the head unit in order to improve the colouring and removal of seam lines.
The head piece is glued togather 1st and the extra dried glue oozing out from the seams are being sanded off. Applied 2 layers of 1000 Mr Color White Base and bye bye seamlines and a nice base coat for the application of airbrushing(see inserted picture).

Modification of the backface is completed with Red paint. Next step is to slot into the head unit shown in the above pictures.

Finally got the chest & both feet done up with 1st layer of paint. Clear top coat(gloss) finally dried up and  water decal has been applied. Will be applying another layer of clear coat next weekend!

Finally got the waist airbrushed with the legs inner frame.

Photos of the standing RX 178!! Inner frame only. I hope to finish this kit for a friend's father who is in Intensive Care Unit.
God Bless Him.
