1/100 MG RX-93 Nu Gundam "Ver. Ka"

Finally able to post something here after my overseas assignment since last october has came to an end. Its a wonderful assignment in Tokyo! Yes the land of Gundams!! haha.

I have bought a new compressor, Mr Hobby Mr Linear Compressor L7 and also a total of 15 kits during this trip; MG Titanium Banshee, MG Wing Gundam Zero, MG Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise, MG GM Type C, MG GM Quel, MG GN001,  MG Aegis Gundam, MG Buster Gundam, MG Tallgeese, SD Tallgeese, PG 00 Raiser, RG Justice Gundam, RG Zeta Gundam, SD Nu Gundam and the one that I love most is this MG Nu Gundam "Ver. Ka".

This is the 2nd Nu Gundam I have but compare this to the old kit that was release a decade back....all I can say is this kit is almost flawless and has make the Nu Gundam a "must" to buy if you are collecting Gundams. This kit has a toned down "psycho fram" like the Unicorn Gundam. It can also accomodate a LED unit which can light up the eyes of the Nu Gundam. The best part is it comes with the water decals which I prefer over the silly scratched on type of decals which has screwed up many of my old MGs.

I have spent about 5 days to get the Head, Body, Backpack, Waist and Legs fixed up with paint applied. This is also my 1st time using GAIA paint for airbrushing and I must say its all worth it. The paint is much hardier than Mr Hooby Aqueous Paint (Scratches seems lesser) and its much more finer.

The amount of parts for this kit is a lot so its not for the feint hearted. The legs units have the most parts to be assembled starting from the inner frame.

I will be posting some pictures once I have transfer to my pc.
